The Transcendent Function

Led by
Barbara Horton

As defined by Jung, the transcendent function plays the role of an autonomous regulator of the psyche.  It emerges and gradually begins to function as the process of individuation unfolds.  What is the transcendent function?  How does it work?

These Orange County Jungian analysts trained at the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles and continue to contribute in various ways to the work and spirit of that community.  All are members of the International Association for Analytical Psychology.
